چکیده

Algae-based wastewater treatment is a promising technology with various applications for excess biomass such as biofertilizer production or valuable elements extraction. The benefits of the have been discussed larger plants (WWTPs), but use microalgae in decentralized has barely reported. current study screens possible resource recovery potential onsite technology, which adds algae-based post-treatment to conventional biological domestic wastewater. effluent from sequencing batch reactor (SBR) household was further processed laboratory conditions using an SBR two local monocultures algae—Klebsormidium nitens (Kützing) Lokhorst and Tetradesmus obliquus (Turpin) M. Effectiveness of Passive Treatment Components for Onsite System Wastewater Renovation

More than 40% of the homes in Georgia use onsite systems to manage household wastewater. Because of water quality concerns as the number on onsite systems increases, advanced wastewater treatment components to reduce biological oxygen demand (BOD), total suspended solids (TSS), and nutrients are more commonly used.. The objective of this study was to evaluate passive, low-maintenance onsite sys...
